About Ben Weinstein

A native New Yorker, Ben had an early interest in fine art, creative writing and video. As a DP he honed a funny visual style that landed him the cinematography job on Wet Hot American Summer. Soon he moved on to directing commercials, gathering clients like Sony Playstation, Apple, Ford, GE, Wrigley’s, Lay's Travelodge and Cartoon Network. Ben's directing has taken him many times to Europe, the Middle East and Asia, developing worldwide relationships with BBDO, Chiat, Grey, Ogilvy, JWT, Publicis and other ad shops. In New York he is immersed in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre studying and performing improv, storytelling and sketch comedy.

Ben is based in Chinatown, New York.
