About Ben Weinstein

A native New Yorker, Ben had an early interest in fine art, creative writing and video. As a DP he honed a funny visual style that landed him the cinematography job on Wet Hot American Summer. Soon he moved on to directing commercials, gathering clients like Sony Playstation, Apple, Ford, GE, Wrigley’s, Cartoon Network and Moby. Ben's directing career has taken him many times to Europe, the Middle East and Asia, developing worldwide relationships with BBDO, Chiat, Grey, Ogilvy and Publicis and other ad shops. In New York he is immersed in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, studying and performing under UCB’s unique curriculum of improv, sketch comedy and storytelling.

Ben is based in Chinatown, New York.
